Busy Busy.

So you want to know about the newest, most amazing thing, don’t you?  Then you MUST look into this comic book series.  Mind the Gap written by Eisner award winner, and over-all cool person Jim McCann and illustrated by Rodin Esquejo (Morning Glories) and Sonia Oback (S.H.I.E.L.D., The Defenders).  It’s an amazing thriller, it has great artwork, and I promise you will love it.  Not only that, but if you keep reading it, you’ll find out that I’ve illustrated a cover for a future issue.  More on that later.  The first issue is going to be on the shelves May 2!

Also, right before C2E2, I finished up a painting for blues/folk artist Dylan Walshe, (also very worth your time to check out.  Seriously.)  We’re still working out the text details, but here’s what the painting looks like.

Side note, C2E2 was a BLAST this year.  And so exhausting, but meeting so many amazing people is worth a weary weekend.  C2E2 is growing by leaps and bounds, so be sure to check it out in 2013 if you haven’t yet.

As you can see, I’m finally foraying back into painting!  I love digital media also, but painting is different.  I’ve missed it, and my new studio space allows me the room to paint to my little hearts desire.  :)
I’m working on a couple of game cards again too, so I’ll keep you posted on those and other projects in the works.  Well, back to work for me…
